Last week I was lucky enough to have two friends come to visit me for a few days and, being the good friends they are, I was treated to all kinds of luxuries from back home. It was like Christmas all over again. But what kind of luxuries could I be talking about? After all, Ryanair only allows a minimal amount of luggage space and weight per passenger... Well, food. Last Sunday was one of the most important days in the UK and Commonwealth countries - Remembrance Sunday. A day when people don their poppies and pay homage to those who gave their lives during WWI and WWII. Held on the second Sunday of every November, ceremonies take place around the globe and are attended by soldiers, civil dignitaries, ex-servicemen, politicians and plenty of others who wish to pay their respects.
